Individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining Global Trade Finance / Exposure Management system under GWBT line of business.
Responsibilities:
Day to day task requires the ability to solve production down situations under tight SLA deadlines. Root cause and problem resolution follow-up
Excellent spoken and written English complete with clear oral communication skills. Must be willing and able to express new ideas, concerns and opinions directly to wider team in team meetings face-to-face and via remote-working tools
Soft Skills: Must be a Team player, and Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
Candidate must be a self-starter, motivated, innovative, capable of handling a team, providing technical solutions and be flexible in work hours
Ability to deal with complex information, processes and relationships to derive a simple solution
Good ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly establish credibility
Detailed oriented, quality conscious, with an eye toward simplicity
Experience with automation and simplification of tasks
Experience in estimation, coordination with offshore/onshore teams and delegating work

University Degree
Being part of IT Application support team providing front line technical support to end users responding to issues related to Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Application Monitoring, Production Governance related to issues
Supports technical processes across different Java/J2EE technologies
Work closely with business and technical teams
Understanding of the design and development of the project lifecycle
Coding, Unit Testing and Component Integration Testing
Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation
Provide support during testing phases as required
Understand the strategy, needs of business units and assist global teams in development of technology roadmaps
Follow relevant coding/design standards & high level design principles
Ensure that the design and development is conforming to best practices, standards and technical design
Constantly looks for opportunities on Efficiency improvement / Productivity Savings
Drives and lives by the culture of innovation resulting in highly efficient teams looking to improve operational efficiency
Takes ownership of day to day issues and escalations and brings issues to resolution
Drive process improvements and innovation with minimum supervision
Desired Skills
Sun Certification (SCJP, SCJD)
VB/Macros Excel understanding / hands on prior experience
Any prior experience in Informatica or MicroStrategy technology will be a plus
Knowledge on Misys TI+ system & development / implementation
Experience on Linux environment
