The Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI) releases notification for the recruitment of the posts of Engine Room Petty Officers (ERPO) (Fitter) and Trainee Engine Room Petty Officers (Trainee Fitter). Suitable or eligible applicants can appear for the interview on 21-03-2016.

Vacancies- 30
Pay Band- Rs. 45878/- per month @ Rs. 1508/- per day (approximately) and overtime at actual hours extra at rate Rs. 73/- per hour less tax as per Income Tax Rules
Age Limit- 45 yrs.
Qualification- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized polytechnic or National Trade Certificate in the trade of Fitter or Diesel/ Motor Mechanic or Machinist or welder OR 2 yrs. Trade Apprentice certificate from Government approved Shipyard in the trade of Fitter or Diesel/ Motor Mechanic or Machinist.
