• Key Responsibilities:

Operational

• Assist catering sales manager in reviewing, monitoring and revising guest service standards, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction.

• Assist and maintain an efficient administration system within the department.

Administration

• To follow the Departmental Operations Manual that reflects policies, procedures, work processes and performance standards within the department

• To maintain client database with segmentation.

• To ensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manual and electronic, is constantly updated.

• To ensure that standard correspondence formats for various stages of bookings and events is completed and maintained.

Marketing

• To continuously seek ways to maximize revenues and profits by upselling other facilities and services.

• To assist the catering sales manager in monitoring and analyzing activities in the market, through guest feedback so as to ensure that we stay ahead of competition.

• Actively solicit and develop sales and marketing activities with key industry partners such as travel agencies, convention organizers.

Guest Services

• Establish rapport with guests maintaining effective customer relationships and handle guest enquiries, requests either personally or over the phone.

• Personally and frequently verify that guests are receiving best possible service.

• Spend time in each function/event to ensure that the function/event is managed well by Banquet and supporting team to ensure guest delight.

• Actively endeavor to seek and resolve guest complaints, where possible, exercise judgment and escalate it to appropriate higher authorities wherever required.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline from recognized Institute /University.

• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

• Salary negotiable on relevant experience.
