Job Description
– This position will cater to one or more CFO lines of businesses including Corporate functions. The span of work covers Management reporting, FP&A including Variance Commentary, Controller ship support.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the Financial Planning and Reporting for one or more lines of businesses
– Manage change for the Reporting teams as the Bank moves to e-Ledger – SAP implementation
– Build, manage and retain team of high calibre, experienced resources
– Develop strategies to enhance the overall efficiencies by leading from front, in detailed analysis/improvements of applications and processes
– Implement applicable control standards in the Reporting process that manage considerable financial and/or operational risk
– Responsible for ensuring all regulatory and risk compliance standards are met
– Keeping an eye on control and monitoring key risk and keeping an eye on indicators
– Focusing on associate value proposition through associate engagement and laying special emphasis on lateral and vertical growth
Desired ProfileRequirements:
Required Skills:
– CA
– Overall experience 15 to 18 years
– Substantial off-shoring experience, banking captive background a must
– Alternatively, somebody with an MNC bank with strong regional role and people leading experience can be considered.
– Strong Finance domain experience in FP&A and Controller-ship activities
– Ability to work in a dynamic environment such as lack of well defined procedures and changing work mix
– Manage efficient deployment of resource associated with all aspects of implementation and on-going operation of processes
– Inspiring & leading by example, providing clear direction & focus to peers & team members, demonstrating role model behaviours required to achieve or exceed business goals
– Be responsible for thinking out of the box and develop innovative solutions for both processes on a global level
– A good team player with lot of focus on talent planning of the entire team
