Job Description:
7 + years of experience working in depth within the Distribution modules, with the ability to independently work on the functional tasks.
Candidate must have at least 2 full project life cycles with hands-on configuration experience in multiple modules.
Knowledge of JDE Enterprise One environment 9.0 and above with emphasis on the Distribution Modules: Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement, Advance Pricing and Agreement Mgmt.
Understanding of EDI, RF Data Collection and Barcode systems, not essential but advantageous.
Work with users to identify and redefine the processes and be proactive in proposing best practice solutions.
Provide production support as per severity/priority within SLA & address to the escalations by IT Customer Support.
To prepare Change Requests, Functional Design documents for Reports, Applications and interfaces, and manage the ancillary tasks relating to promotion of objects and versions into production, e.g. menu, security change requests etc.
Lead an active role in the design, testing and implementation phases of a project. Must be able to work in a team environment with significant day-to-day contact with user groups and external consultants.
Be involved in gathering user requirements, feasibility analysis and assist in generating functional specifications. Participate in all phases of the project life cycle including implementation support and on-going production maintenance. Understanding of other modules (Finance and manufacturing) and integrations along with 3rd party interfaces. Source to end of transaction set, e.g Interface Sales Accounts Receivable General Ledger.
Ensure that one keeps abreast of future JDE application release functionality/developments and related emerging technology.
Strong understanding of the relational data base technology, including the ability to write and execute SQL statements as required.
Additional
Knowledge of SDLC development standards / services and networking techniques.
Good time management skills.
