Position Responsibilities
The Senior JDE Manufacturing expert must understand the business processes of the customer and able to co-relate with it, providing solutions in JDE ERP.
In conjunction with functional users and IT Business Systems personnel, this position assists with the design and documentation of the company’s application software environment. This position is responsible for leading application development projects of a very high complexity. 7 + years of in-depth experience with the JDE Manufacturing module with a strong Process Manufacturing background. Knowledge of Manufacturing Accounting, Forecasting/Capacity Planning, Product Data Management, Shop Floor Management, Work Order Management. Knowledge of EDI is not essential but advantageous. Should have experience with other modules such as Procurement and Inventory. Lead an active role in the design, testing and implementation phases of a project. Must be able to work in a team environment with significant day-to-day contact with user groups and external consultants.
Assist client user in the analysis & implementation of best practices in JDE Manufacturing module.
To prepare Change Requests, Functional Design documents for Reports, Applications and interfaces, and manage the ancillary tasks relating to promotion of objects and versions into production, e.g. menu, security change requests etc.

Analyze business processes, identify gaps or improvements and develop functional level solutions or revisions in process, procedure and operations. Experience with UPK
Ability to independently evolve and implement analytics based on the requirements and also propose key enhancements and improvements around performance etc.
Ability to mentor and direct the team where required with functional skill as part of JDE Manufacturing deliverables.
Display clarity of thought set clear expectations with stake holders, articulate the deliveries in terms of time lines, clearly communicate all plans and outcomes with stake holders.
Strong understanding of the relational data base technology, including the ability to write and execute SQL statements as required.
Provide Production support as per severity/priority within SLA & address to the escalations by IT Customer Support.
