Specific Duties:
1. Must have hands on maintenance experience on following Instrumentation Equipment’s/systems and execute maintenance works on
• SCADA – Siemens
• Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) – Siemens
• PLC panel for pumps, MCC/PLC Panel – ABB Industries LLC
2. Operation & Maintenance of Instrumentation systems (PLC,SCADA,BMS etc) in Air conditioning System, Water Treatment Plant, Compressed Air System, Gas Yard, Oil Farm etc. Knowledge on Honeywell/Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC systems.
3. Ability to handle master instruments for calibration of flow, level and pressure transmitters.
4. Knowledge on cable scheduling, wiring terminations, interpretation of electrical and P&ID drawings.
5. Experience in Loop Checking, Function Checking, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities.
6. Troubleshooting of problems related to field instruments, PLC and SCADA.
Knowledge on programming in PLC, modification as per the customer requirements like graphics, alarms and trend creation in SCADA.
7. Scheduling and conducting preventive maintenance activities, Breakdown maintenance / Root cause analysis and corrective actions.
8. Maintaining log books / History cards / calibration reports with respect to maintenance.
9. Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanism, components and systems.
11. Plan and manage project, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
12. Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs and provide guidance if necessary. Planning and execution of preventive routine and breakdown maintenance.
13. Investigate systems failure or unexpected maintenance problems
14. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co- ordinate work activities with other departments.
15. Resolve site work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity.
16. Capability to review design documents, provide technical guidance and support where required, assisting and contributing to relevant stakeholders, consultants, project managers, clients and contractors.
17. Monitor and Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as appropriate.
18. Inspect Instrumentation systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
19. Follow safety regulations and advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Ensure that standards for safe working conditions are observed.
20. Providing assistance during emergencies. Respond to emergencies in a timely manner. Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines and emergency solutions.
21. Through in documentation, departmental training and co-ordination.
